Into the Dark

Voices whisper

(revolution) from 

the empty spaces 

between us, 

shading

uncomfortable 

truths...

Spoken from 

throats raw 

with injustice,

No longer 

swallowing 

apologies from 

well-meaning 

lips, accustomed 

to placebos

falsely soothing 

a collective 

(un)conscience.
