Gaia & Poseidon
Her face burns
red hot with fever,
scorched lines
across its surface
outline a grimace
for each spike
in temperature...
She is
suffering.
(But not alone)...
The same affliction
ravages her
“other half”...
His fluids warm
uncomfortably
bodies raging, swelling
spilling over barricades
anointing each “act
of nature.”
They cling
to each other
As symptoms worsen
longing for reprieve,
Wondering
if this is their last
(Sol) Journey
Together.
