Acquittal “Business”

Porcelain faces sit 

in petulant judgement, like toddlers 

Unable to control their urges...

ready to flush their collective

morals down the pipes 

at the slightest hint of 

bipartisan aroma. 

The stench 

of cowardess grows 

as their bellies swell with rotgut 

from swallowing too many

alternative “facts.”

Escaping discomfort

is the Primary concern.

Thus, 

with Coats turned 

outward, They cling

to the heel of Liberty,

with paper thin intentions...

as she exits her post

No longer willing 

to bear witness to this

Shit show called 

democracy.

*Reflections on the Republican led US Senate that voted to acquit 45th President Donald Trump of all impeachment charges without hearing any witness testimony or seeing relevant evidence/documents. (I.e. mistrial). Treason by each and every GOP member that voted this way.
