Fragile

We can’t 

breathe, we exhale  

panicking at our 

muted voice...

foreign feelings

Igniting fear.

Drowning

in self pity

we demand “normalcy”

betray callous 

privilege, Plague 

the vulnerable

with false equivalents...

Frantically, flail 

towards the surface

abandoning

lifelines (Masks)

gasping 

All Lives Matter...

colonizing 

even the airways

screaming

for Freedom.

In response to the anti-mask wearing, coronavirus “hoax” believing, freedom “infringement” spewing, hate mongering white Americans screaming at nurses and jeopardizing the safety of our communities, especially those most vulnerable  among us (Black citizens.)
